Bob Claytor is an artist, designer and teacher who works in paint, glass, digital media and 3d
2003 to 2019: teacher of Art, Design and Technology at a large secondary school in the north of England.
2001 to 2003: teacher training at Sheffield Hallam University. PGCE.
1985 to 2001: self employed artist and designer. Completed many large scale public art works, installations and series of painting and drawing.
During this period I developed my digital skills, becoming fascinated by the potential of software such as Photoshop and CoralDRAW. This activity and subsequent graphics and web design work has informed a creative transition from fine art through to a career that involves teaching product design and making stained glass as well as some of the wider aspects of the art and technology subject area.
